yes we can

This is an impressive video. Wow. Ever get the feeling that we are just scratching the surface of how people will communicate? How we'll share ideas? Yes, one could view it is simply as a beautiful edit of strong words. But when some words are worth repeating, worth sharing, flexibility in how those words are shared is as important as the words themselves. Thank you for the link, Peter!

Yes we can.

Yes, indeed, this is a remarkable and very inspiring video... and I'm a real admirer of the guy too... but...
Rember that episode in the "Wag the Dog" movie? Yeah... Kinda the same recypie.
Where's the boundary between the genuine and true human emotion PROCESSED BY THE HYPE MACHINE (this example) and outright propaganda... I wonder.
Regards.

Nothing is completely pure, "yolto.com". Sure, this speech is made glittery filtered through the egos of "will.i.am" and other celebs, but you don't have to be a "true believer" to sense the power of it, and the promise of something transcending the horrible, horrible shithole that is Washington politics.

On listening to several of his longer speeches and interviews, my gut-check on Obama is that he's the real deal, that he represents intelligent, wise change. I'm excited about voting for prez for the first time in my life.

Thankfully my sound card lasted long enough to hear this. I am always exhilarated by a piece of communication which not only stirs me to action, but gives me hope that the action could make a difference. P.S. I voted today... :p
